After the Central Bank indicated to cut interest rates, Peru's benchmark bonds are experiencing a rise and yields coming down to the lowest since past two years. As per the prices collected by Bloomberg, price of the bond rose to 116.92 centimos per sol and the yield reduced to 5.41 percent from earlier 7.84 percent. The central bank of Peru has maintained the lending rate at 4.25 percent amidst the economic situations, decreasing commodity prices and reduced demand for Peru's goods in foreign market. The central bank has estimated an average 7.3 percent growth rate of Peru over the period of last five years. The central bank highlighted that the inflation rate of Peru, which reached as high as 0.79 percent in July, would remain below 0.25 percent with controlled interest rates. Peru government is ready with a safe and conventional spending budget plan to tackle the global slowdown and drooping metal prices.

With the plethora of things that the internet has become, a travel guide is very high up the list too. Cashing in on the travel guide craze, are social networking websites, with facebook recently introducing the 'location' feature.
However, teeming competition has forced one social network to completely revamp its services, and that is Gowalla. The site was earleir more in the realm of a social networking website based heavily on games and the like, but a stagnating member count has forced Gowalla to look towards the advantages of doubling up as a travel guide.
Thus, it is looking to take a bite out of the travel guide market pie. It is developing more than sixty curated city travel guide that would fecilitate people with information on where to go and what to do.
